RUSTIC WELCOME DESK

Phos Community Church purchased a couple of 12’ Pecan slabs with the intention of turning them into tables. When the project went unfinished, the slabs warped. They asked our Wood Studio to step in and finish the project. In order to salvage the warped lumber, I cut the slabs down into several pieces. This slab became a rustic welcome desk.

The Pecan slab, barn wood, corrugated tin, and horse-stall bars were all reclaimed materials. The desk in 7’ long with a standing counter-height of 36” in the back and 42” in the front. The shelves/storage compartments open with sliding doors, and the entire desk is on wheels for easy moving.
